This past week we start talk about getting real. One of thing that jump out at me is that when we come to church we feel like we have to put on for someone (who is this someone) is it Jesus is the boy setting next to you what is it. It is time that we get real. If the world can be real then we as the church need to do the same thing.

The last two Sunday night at Amplified we have talk about the thought of belong. It is something that everyone wants and needs to fill. So many time in our life we try and belong in places that we should not belong. I call that place the wrong belong. We need to find our self in a place of belong when you come to that place we need to help other get to that same places. Next Sunday night we are going talk about get real. In a world that makes fake thing real.

Week two confessions of a youth leader. Excellence and Passion in the world they put out thing (ie movies, TV, Music) that is the best that they can do. As a leader I long to put out the best that we can. Also when you look at you self are you doing your best in everything that you do. Tell your friend about Jesus. Your School work. It is time that you put our best in it. My grandfather (Dado) show me in so many ways to always give it my best. Excellence is the key. Also with this come passion I am tired of going up to a place and having someone have some half hearted do something. It time to have some passion about what we do.

Confession's of a youth leader

Last week I spend about 11 days at a firework stand. In the heat of day all that I had to do was think. If you know me well that might not be that great of a idea. But they i was hot and think. This is what confessions come out of me think about Amplified and think about what I real went to see happen in the student life. Amplified is a ministry focused on students. Everything we do is about helping students become complete in Christ. Our commitment is to provide a relevant opportunity for you to connect to God and each other. The for most thought is complete in Christ. Over the next 3 week in Amplified I will be talk about my Confession's looking at our Vision and Mission as well as who we want to be.

They are time in life that we need something new. Today I feel like in need something new. So I am updating some of Amplified stuff it has been fun. I also we have start work on our new web suit. Summer Plan

Today it is still rain. I like rain but not this kind. It just keeps on coming. The power here at the church keep on going off and then on it is some much fun. I got to work late today the rain was bad by my home so I just went to stay in a read a book but I got out in the rain. Now on to what is happen in Amplified over the summer. Amplified main (Sunday Night) will not be going on this summer we will start back up Sep 20th. But have no fear we will still be doing Amplified Burn on wed night. We are going to be having fun nights as well thought out the summer.

I am setting here in my office just think and think. God is real doing a great work here at the church and in Amplified. I love see God change student life's. I feel like God is going to do some cool thing in the life of the student this summer. We are doing somthing that I have never done before so it will be a lot of fun.

This past weekend we went to Fine Arts at SAGU we take 28 Student down to use there talents and discovered one that they never know they had. It was a great time. 15 Students will be go to Florida for Nationals in August. Thank you to everyone who come down.

Come up in April 3rd-5th Amplified Youth Group and Fountain of Life Church will be doing a fundraiser entitled In His Step. We need your help. Our student will be walk 35 miles over 3 days the student are to be getting people to donation per mile that they walk. In His Step goes purchase essential transportation and for creative communication tools for missionaries around the globe. Partner with the youth in our church to give so that our missionaries can be equipped to take the gospel to the "ends of the earth" We walk so they do not have to.

Jesus talk about Greed He was talk with a group of people call the Pharisees. I hope all of you enjoyed last Wednesday Nights "Trunk or Treat". I know that I had a good time. It was a "real" time for you as a student to be a "real" Jesus to the world. Also, this week we, as a youth group, had the opportunity to show the "real" Jesus to the students at PHCH. It was communicated to me that one of the students made the comment, "This is the best youth group ever!". That is just the start of us "going wide". We need to reach out to the people around us and show them the love of God.

Go Deep

Over the next few weeks you are going to hear a lot about "Go Deep". What's this all about, you ask? It is about now, a time when the world we live in needs to see a group of teens that are not consumed by being popular or by having the most popular clothes or hairstyles.

Now is the time for our youth to be so consumed by the Fire of God that when they walk the halls of their schools, classmates and teachers alike will see their passion and desire to know God more.

Over the next month my prayer is that you will see how and desire to "Go Deep into God".

Camp Day 3

So last night was just cool. Jesus says that He gave us 3 things that we told us. The first is the promise of His return. The promise of His peace. The power of the Holy Spirit. The promise of His peace is a big deal. Students come down with hurts and pain and God met them and start a work in they life. Game time was a lot of fun. Over all-camp has been a great time.

Camp Day 1-2

So we are here at camp we are have a great time. Camp has been real a great time. (if you are not here you are miss out on a lot of fun) so
CAMP DAY 1
we left the church and everything was going great. Zak might not have been the best one to lead the group down to camp. It was fun!!! Then it happen we are about five min away from camp (that right five min) I got a call the van was have some problem I look back and the tried was flat. So we pulled the van over and change the tried what fun that was (photo to come) after that we where the last group to get to camp that was fun. Everything when great after that. The first at of service was great. Brain Jarrett talk about God grace we do not understand all that God grace. God is just went us to come home.
CAMP DAY 2
Day 2 start off at 8:30 AM we eat then after we eat our guy win the football game for our team way to go guys. Then we had smell group time that was good. Then we had team time. We do not do that well in the time game. Our guy and girl just got out and did what need to be done to help us win. At the service God moved in a very cool way. 3 of our student were filled with the Holy Spirit. Was not just about speaking in a language that we do not know. It was about the power that the Holy Spirit give us some that we can do what God went us to do and live this life. The place that we leave in right now might not always be this way (and it is good). We need to have the Holy Spirit in our life so what we can stay with it all the way to the end.

Over the past 4 weeks live has been moving so fast. Just today I got up and found all my stuff still back from kids camp. I was like I can unpack my self today then but wait I am going to youth camp next week. Live moves so fast that we just can't take the time to real enjoy life.
